The beauty of the wood in a QBilliards "Kingston" table is both enhanced and preserved by a hand rubbed satin lacquer finish, this brings out the natural luster and beauty of the wood. To create this finish, numerous coats of lacquer are applied, with each coat hand sanded between applications. This finish dries so hard it is impervious to water marks and resistant to cue scuffs and other day-to-day abuse.

How well the table will play is a direct result of how thick, how flat, & the total weight of the slate. Solid wood framing attached directly to the slate gives a solid foundation for leveling and solid wood for fastening cloth staples. All our billiards tables come with high quality, three piece, diamond honed matched and registered 1" (25mm) slate. This is far superior to the one piece slate offered by other manufacturers, it is a lot less cumbersome to handle and each slate can be individually leveled to provide a perfect playing surface. The Billiard Congress of America (BCA) requires that the slate on tournament tables be 1” (25mm) thick in three pieces and wooden framed.The 1" (25mm) Diamond Honed Slate in every Kingston table offers a truer playing surface. | |

Frame is a center beam construction made from solid wood 1 1/2" (38mm) x 3 3/4" (95mm) thick running the length of the table with two cross beams, this helps stabilize the frame. The frame has been engineered to exacting standards providing a lifetime of quality play. |

With our Kingston tables, beauty is more than skin deep. Each leg is connected to the table frame by a sturdy 2.75mm steel corner bracket and 7 heavy duty bolts. The solid wood frame is secured in the corners by a custom extruded aluminum bracket that forms an integral part of the frame by slotting into grooves in the frame and then secured with 8 wood screws. These are just a few reasons why the Kingston range of tables is far superior in quality to its competitors... guaranteed !!! |

| The pockets are manufactured out of high quality genuine leather, with cast iron pocket frames that are bolted directly to the rails to ensure the pocket will not move once tightened. Each pocket has a designer pattern on the top of the pocket to enhance the overall look of the table. | The solid birch wood legs are of the highest quality craftsmanship, secured firmly to the base of the frame. The legs provide the foundation and support necessary for a table of this high caliber.
